I spent two weeks here, working at an advanced level in Spanish. I ve attended a lot of Spanish schools over the last six years, and Ixchel is among the best. I can only think of two other schools that were as good. My teacher was highly experienced, and was flexible enough to accommodate my desire to emphasize speaking and listening. I really liked the fact that I could stay at a room at the school instead of doing a home stay. The accommodations were comfortable, and the food was good. Every weekend, the school arranges tours so students can get to know Guatemala better. I d highly recommend Ixchel!
